weekly menu: January 26 -- February 1

  • turkey meatballs (adapted the beef and lamb meatball recipe from Jerusalem)
  • olive oil granola (with no coconut flakes - ugh)
  • Francis Lam's eggplant puree that is supposed to be served with pasta, but I served with brown rice and a squeeze of tomato paste instead. (I am way excited about the way the eggplant breaks down in this recipe, because it's pretty much the only way I can stand eggplant)
  • polenta, braised kale, fried egg
  • big batch of black beans for random Tex-Mex-ish dishes
